Carpenters Rest in Wighton is a hidden gem! The beautifully presented apartment above the village pub exceeded my expectations. The bedrooms were spacious, the bathroom was huge with a luxurious shower, and the kitchen and lounge areas were stylishly furnished. The apartment had everything we needed, including reliable internet and a TV with various functions. The welcoming gift of milk, bread, butter, and eggs was a thoughtful touch. The pub downstairs served fantastic food, and the village itself was quiet and charming. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Although the apartment was well-equipped, there were a few minor drawbacks. The hot water ran out when all four of us needed a shower, which was a little inconvenient.

This hidden gem is located in a quiet village with a charming pub overlooking scenic countryside. the apartment itself is beautifully presented, with two spacious double bedrooms and a sizable bathroom boasting a huge shower. the well-equipped kitchen and stylishly furnished lounge/dining area provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. the owners leave a thoughtful welcome gift of milk, bread, butter, and eggs.
The apartment can get quite hot during warm weather, and some additional fans in the bedrooms would have been helpful for a better night's sleep.

We had an amazing stay at this charming hotel in Wighton. The rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished, with very comfy beds and an excellent bathroom. The location was great, with a lovely village atmosphere and the convenience of a pub for dinner. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to add more breakfast options.

Felt like home from home, had everything we needed and very comfortable.
Only 1 front door key and no way to lock the door from inside, which is a security and fire risk.

The apartment had a cozy and homely feeling, making me instantly comfortable. I loved that there were 2 bedrooms, perfect for a small group or family. The kitchen was well-equipped with a fridge and an oven, allowing us to cook our own vegetarian meals. The presence of a flat-screen TV was a pleasant surprise, providing entertainment during our downtime.
Personally, I would have preferred a shower instead of a bath in the bathroom.

I enjoyed the complimentary WiFi, it saved me from having to interact with other humans. The private parking was great too, I didn't have to walk too far from my car to the apartment. The towels were offered in the apartment, just like I always dreamed of.
Who needs an airport nearby? Definitely not me.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. the bathroom was spacious and well-designed. We appreciated the thoughtful arrival package and the stocked fridge with eggs, butter, milk, and bread. the location of the apartment was perfect, situated in a lovely and quiet village, close to the beach and amenities. Having a pub underneath was a real treat, especially with its fabulous food.
The hot water ran out when all four of us needed a shower, which was disappointing. It would also have been great to have the option of a twin or double bed in the second bedroom.
